I've been there. Trying to cram too may things into a day. 'Take time to rest' was also on my TODO list. It was crazy. It gave me Crohns Disease and took away so many years of my life where I was literally draining myself and my productivity was still not what I wanted it to be. It was as if I wanted to fit an infinite amount of hours in every second of the day.
Workaholism is as bad as alchoholism with the exception that it actually passes as a 'valid habit' completely approved by society.
I'm also trying to change and have to a large extent but the old habits still try to kick in.
